This is a milestone in regards to my user interface goals. I'm proud of how it turned out and want to continue getting better with each pass.

I probably made 10 versions of the header before finally settling on the current itch header. Making the preview and the sprite sheets was fun!

Additionally, I spent a large chunk of my morning reading Creative Commons license documentation. It wasn't as confusing as I thought it would be, and I feel a bit more enlightened. I'll continue reading through the details, but today was quite productive.

I've enjoyed playing with the layout and feel like it's something I really want to do profesionally. Sure, I still have a lot to learn, but UI design has fascinated me for a long time. Even when I didn't realize it for a while, it's interesting to look back at the things I did in high school and realizing my extra curriculars were very graphic design and layout-oriented. 

I'm looking forward to more UI projects! Gotta keep practicing!
